From multi-billion dollar expansions to your favorite local restaurant, Atlantic City has something for everyone. The gaming capital of the northeast United States, Atlantic City is a 24-hour, year round destination with 11 first-class casino resorts, the hottest concerts from around the world, the top names in fine dining to acclaimed local restaurants, luxurious spas, premier shopping, more than 30 highly rated golf courses in the region and the list goes on. Plus, our coveted location on the ocean and bay provides a scenic backdrop to our world-famous Boardwalk and is a natural outlet for a variety of water-based activities such as cruises, sailing, fishing and any water sport you can imagine.

Atlantic City has more than 33 million visitors each year - will you be one of them?

FAST FACTS

Atlantic City's world famous Boardwalk was created in 1870. It is 4 miles long and 60 feet wide that runs parallel to the beach and ocean. The Boardwalk was first built to help eliminate beach sand from being dragged into the elegant hotel lobbies. During that time, the Boardwalk was literally "rolled up" in September marking the end of the season.

Atlantic City's famous independent restaurants have been around for generations, and still rate as some of the best in the region. Check out Dock's Oyster House, the Knife and Fork, Angelo's Fairmount Tavern and the White House Sub Shop.
